- Last night I was doing some more research on Raxxla when I stumbled upon a system currently permit locked called Polaris. Then did research on Polaris. I think it’s safe to say either Raxxla is IN Polaris, the Thargoid homeworld is in Polaris or there’s a portal TO their homeworld/Raxxla.

Posted: 24 Oct 2019 02:09 PM PDT You were on the edge of death. And were being attacked. I didn't understand what was happening until I saw your hull integrity drop and drop. It was a team of them, you were in a Harmless Keelback and they were a FDL and an Anaconda. I was the Corvette that jumped in at the last minute. I hunted them down. The FDL barely got away but the Anaconda...was mine. I hope it serves as somewhat of a small retribution. You have been avenged. But I could not save you from a rebuy. o7 CMDR [link] [comments]
PSA: Docking at these stations will result in a crash Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:34 AM PDT Copy pasta from Frontier support. Greetings Commanders, We have identified an issue when trying to dock at the following stations: We have identified that the decal is causing the problem, so we have temporarily removed it while the team work on a fix for the issue. We will let you know when this issue is resolved as soon as possible so you can go and collect your Scourge decal! Thank you for your understanding. EDIT: Apparently this has now been fixed, you will no longer be able to get the decal while Frontier fix the issue. [link] [comments]

Custom Elite Dangerous Plates for X55/X56 and Thrustmaster Warthog Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:03 AM PDT Just putting this out there, for those that are interested and fly with a X55/56 or TM Warthog I have been doing custom Plates that are available to enhance the experience by providing relevant control markings. For the X55/56 https://www.tekcreations.space/product/custom-elite-dangerous-plate-for-saitek-x-55-x-56-hotas-throttle/ it uses the layout I used for many years, but is completely customisable upon request. For the TM Warthog https://www.tekcreations.space/product/custom-elite-dangerous-plates-warthog/ I adopted the great work Aussiedroid has done on his script and used his mappings for creating a custom plate, Again this can be customised but you would need to be quite clear on what you are after and positioning. If anybody is interested check it out, and any feedback / requests taken onboard Cheers CMDR Tekadept [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:27 AM PDT I did tons of research on Polaris last night, the Thargoid's homeworld, Raxxla, and a simple search of this subreddit and "Polaris" view by top posted can give you an idea of everything. The way I got to researching Polaris was the term in the Raxxla codes page "to the jewel that burns on the brow of the mother of galaxies." In my head I said ok, the mother of our galaxy - SOL. It's where humanity is birthed. Hence, the mother of our galaxy. So I looked at the galaxy map. What's above our galaxy? On the "brow" so to say. I saw Polaris. It's currently permit locked though. It's also technically our North Star IRL. Apparently. And in one of the old Elite games First Encounters, apparently there's a mission leading to that system where we make first contact with the Thargoids, there's this whole story plot for that system. Go read up on it. The Raxxla Hunt is a part of the game that genuinely fuels my drive to play. So does the Dark Wheel. But, man. Sometimes I REALLY believe these things are locked away in permit locked systems by Frontier until they're ready for them to be found. I know they say it's out there and it's not in a locked system, but sometimes I just don't believe it. SOMETHING is in Polaris. That much we can bet. Is it Raxxla? The Dark Wheel? I'm not sure. But I believe it MIGHT be. I really wish Frontier would take the time to further these important plot points in the game. All these cool stories we have to potentially lead us to great places and things. [link] [comments] |
