Arrived in a system with a nebula directly behind a black hole. Didn't even move to get this shot.
For a year and a half, I have been trying to find the biggest blue supergiant in the galaxy. The record for an A class is 499.99 solar radii. I was SO CLOSE
I made a driver's license esque card for elite dangerous! (.PSD in comment)
still in my first exploration run in the veils. completely different game than in the bubble. feels like a drug. "just one more jump, then ill head to bed...Oooh, MS star next door, lemme see, and an O type next to that, 3 AWs at 18000ls away...eff it, ill map em now..*alarm goes off* time for work"

My best shot yet. I never cease to be amazed at the galaxy they have created.
Had a friend 3D print me an AspX. Very pleased with the detail but I think somebody shot it with a railgun en route

Went to Maia to get some Meta-Alloys and decided to go sight-seeing
I’m pretty new to the game, but I’ve logged 200hrs the past few months. I made a phone wallpaper honoring my accomplishments, feel free to use it too.
Explorers, do you like the Krait Mk. II or the Phantom? Any reasons (besides looks) you'd prefer one over the other? The descriptions seem to imply Mk. II = combat, Phantom = exploration.

Hello friends, I bought Elite Dangerous for my dad about 2 years ago. He loves the game. I cannot express how much I enjoy his enjoyment of the game. ANYWAY, a couple nights ago we were talking about our plans for him to help me move into my new house IRL (first time Home buyer).

He says, "well I flew out to Hutton last night." And I said "gross. I've never been" ""Ya," says he. "Took me 45 minutes and then I am not gonna lie I looked around trying to figure out how to claim that free anaconda for a few minutes."

I started laughing and he continues.

"So I bought a bunch of mugs. Then I learned that it's illegal to scan a mega ship and died. Lost all my mugs too."

I bought my dad a button mug and it should arrive at my house the same day he does. He doesn't read reddit so I think it's safe to post this.
