New to the game, 5 hours in, and I bought my first ship. Don't even know how to do the encrypted data missions but this game is fantastic.
She doesn’t even know where she want to go
Took all weekend and many mail but I've finally got a battle crusier
2 months exploring...... Gone

Title.

My squadron chipped in to get the Shipyard and Outfitting services for my carrier but since you need to jump your carrier to a system that has Carrier Services to purchase those service upgrades, the majority of systems are packed to the brim with idling carriers resulting in a 'No Free Slots' message preventing upgrades.

Suggestion to Frontier:

Either make it so Carriers don't display in those systems and have their own instance for owners or expand the radius around the sell system so that you can make upgrades in neighbouring systems, say within 20lys.

Edit: I've been informed by a member of another squadron that there's a time limit for how long you can be in a carrier drydock system? Can anyone confirm this?

If you're just adding services, you don't need to go to a system that actually sells carriers, you just have to go to a station that has Carrier Administration, of which there are tons.
