Surprise! Finally dropped out of hyperspace at Sag A* in my purple AspX, “Pandora”, and after gazing momentarily into the void of the black hole, turned around to find that I was not alone! “CMDR Kruug of the AspX Pandora requesting docking on the, erm, Fleet Carrier Pandora.”
Only just realised quite how cool the bridge of the Type 9 is
I put my fleet carrier into orbit around Mitterand Hollow
Our carrier just randomly landed next to a ringed ELW
Beyond this, you will see the entire future of the universe...
Many thanks to the DSSA initiative. I was able to find safe haven deep in the Empyrean Straits region on my way to Sag A*

If Odyssey adds space legs, shipbreaking/scrapping should become a job

Like you pull up to an abandoned ship, get your space legs on, EVA over to the other ship and begin scrapping valuable technologies and looting the hold. With a larger ship you could get special Salvager Limpets that can break down the ship itself into chunks and transfer it to your hold.

How fun would it be to have a Guest Book for Carriers?

Like hotel guestbooks you could leave a simple message to the owner of the Carrier!

Not only would it have a huge impact on RP for the CMDRs that do it, but you could also leave a fun message for the owner if for example his carrier was at the perfect place when you need it for repairs refuel etc.

It would even be a reason for people to park them at far places in the galaxy as many travelers would thank them for the services after traveling alone around the galaxy by leaving a simple message that they would see in their Carrier message log or something.

What do you guys think??

When is combat going to be as lucrative as mining?

I just pulled over a billion credits in my Cutter mining 704 tons of diamonds. In literally one run i could rebuy my cutter in what took me a few weeks to grind out in combat. I couldnt make that much when mission stacking was a thing.

A neat trick I just discovered

If you boost off a neutron, the boost isn't used until you jump. This includes if you catch ride on a fleet carrier. So you can effectively 'store' a neutron boost and use it when you want. There's not really any point considering carriers can jump further than any neutron boost, but I thought it was pretty neat
