• I’m a new commander, but been loving this game so much I had to get this to complete the fantasy. My first HOTAS ever, thanks to Elite Dangerous.
• I remember seeing Orion in the night sky and how it sparked my lifelong interest in science. So of course my first sightseeing trip was to see Betelgeuse in all its glory. Also this game just prints desktop wallpapers.
• An Undiscovered Ringed Amonia World, pretty rare wouldnt you agree?
• Finally got my sol permit!

• Planetary Sunrise
• Just made my first first discovery Saturday (stop by IC 2602 Sector IL-L A9-5 if you wanna check it out :)) and have now made the decision to do what every explorer must: head towards the center of the galaxy. Time to do the first trip of 20,000 Ly, here goes nothing.

Your ship can pick up your SRV while hovering?! Posted: 25 Jan 2021 07:20 AM PST Today I was on a mountain on some planet. I wanted to leave and called my ship. But instead of landing somewhere safe it just hovered above the mountain. I thought that was a bug, so I reloaded into the game, drove further down the mountain and again called my ship. It was again hovering above the mountain and I thought "well, I guess I have to drive down all the way to the ground to get into my ship". But when I drove right under my ship suddenly the "board ship" icon was lighten up. And to my big surprise I could click on "board ship" and my SRV got boarded. As I regained the control over my ship, it was still hovering and ready for take off into space without a problem. I didn't knew that this mechanic was implemented into the game.
