    New player beware! Some carrier owners have been tricking new players into making a ship with a low jump range to mine for them for little to no payment.

    They are taking them to a remote system far from the bubble. Fleet carriers have a 500ly jump range.

    If you are a veteran player, join our discord discord.gg/NEWP and help us bring down the slavers.

    If you are a new player, do the same and learn the ropes of Elite with experts you can trust.

    To the people trapped. If rescue is not possible you can self destruct your ship and get the starter sidewinder back to the bubble. I know this is the shitty option, but it's better than being stuck in the middle of nowhere. There are people in the discord link above that would love to help with getting your money back and into a better ship.

    Memorial and support for my father

    Cmdr's,

    My father is entering hospice care and I was going to set up my fleet carrier in a system I wanted to use as a memorial. Beta Doradus is where I am going to moor it as one of the things my father was most proud of was my submarine warfare qualification while I was in the navy.

    Beta Doradus is named after the dolphinfish (AKA Mahi-Mahi) which are part of the submarine warfare pin and felt it was suiting for this. As if it wasn't for his hope when things were not going so well and his message of persevering through the sucky parts I would not have qualified in submarines nor would I have done tours on three boats. It is also safe to say that I wouldn't be where I am at now in my career without him suggesting the navy.

    My carrier is called "Hope and Perseverance" and I am working on getting it loaded up with tritum and other things so that it can be in Beta Doradus for a while.

    The system is kind of remote but if anyone happens to pass through or close by please stop by and raise a glass (or a mug) for best wishes as my dad begins the next leg of his journey it would be appreciated.

    I discovered some guardian ruins in a nebula over 12k Light Years away from the bubble. They’re in the same system as the green stellar phenomenon clouds. System: BLAA HYPAI OZ-O D6-16

    As a Dad and parttime CMDR, and after 2,1k visited systems, 10035ly from Start (10007ly from Sol), in an engineered DBX with a loaded jumprange of 66,95ly, and 4 months of playing/exploring i now can prouldy say to be an Elite Dad Explorer!

    After 200+ hours, I finally bought Cutter. It looks astonishing. And, in person, it looks much better than on YouTube screen. Sometimes it’s a strange feeling to get what you wanted for so long.
