Why does nobody talk about the Mamba's Form Factor?

Everyone says the Mamba is bad compared to the FDL because of how similar they are.

Why do none of these people address the fact that they are different shapes?

It's extremely easy to dodge oncoming fire in a mamba by barrel rolling directly towards your target in a corkscrew pattern. You cannot do this in an FDL (you CAN, but the hitbox is still gonna be huge so it's pointless). The boost turn cycle in the mamba lasts a very long time and you can basically flip your ship at the end of the boost, reboost, repeat.

When I FA off in the FDL, it feels similar to Chieftain FA off; im drifting around. But with the mamba....you can be everywhere and be hard AF to hit.

For example, if the Mamba is facing you, you see a thin line. If the FDL is facing you, you see a giant triangle. If the mamba is sideways, you see a thin line. If the FDL is sideways, you see a giant triangle. If the Mamba is perpendicular , you see a Mamba. If the FDL is perpendicular, you see a giant triangle.

Why is this never addressed? All the mamba reviews I have seen said that it's "A Worse FDL" and it just compares the raw numbers....
