    Pleiades Nebula from the other side. The Bubble is just about behind it from here so the nebula is basically a mirror image of what we can actually see on the night sky from Earth. Elite is amazingly accurate in representing the various objects on the sky in relation to one's position on the map.

    Fuel Scooping

    So, i'm posting this for the benefit of the noobs like me who might not know about this. Previously, I had to go around the star to fuel scoop. Then, I'd have to balance both my temp and the scoop rate. But, you can actually scoop while still (relatively - 0% throttle).

    Start to move towards the star until it starts scooping. Once you have your desired scoop rate at a 'comfortable' temperature, press the key bound to your 0% throttle. Your ship will stop but will continue to scoop. once done, immediately pull away from the star.

    Biting the bullet and going to Colonia, found this on the way. The Trifid Nebula. It's the subtle details like a womens face in a nebula that will never cease to amaze me.
