• My first ever exploration trip was to the Pleiades Nebula. I watched loads of tutorial videos on YouTube by ObsidianAnt. So what do I find in the Maia system? A little station called Obsidian Orbital and he even did the voice for it! Old news for most probably, but for me it was quite a moment.

Fallen CMDR / IRL Posted: 04 May 2020 06:00 AM PDT Ladies and Gentlemen, It is with my deepest regret to inform you we have lost a good CMDR. YolviF passed away Saturday evening on May the 2nd and headed into the black for his final trip. A few of us had met him on his excursion to Sag A* where he lead a successful trip, and kept everyone in great spirits. His log he kept of the trip will be below. https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/fowqaj/starting_pilgrimage_to_sagittarius_a_on_ps4/ I do not know the details, as to what took place, only that his girlfriend was nice enough to inform us on PS4 network about the passing. In honor of him I'd like to do another trip out into the black. If anyone would like to join in let me know. I'll take ideas, but would like to make it an exploration trip. My first personal expedition Posted: 04 May 2020 02:05 PM PDT I am new to ED and have been having fun for a month or so. Most of the time I had been mining and gathering engineering materials to prepare my first voyage. And I finally am able to fly my 65 ly phantom to go out of the bubble. After 2 hours, I am at the Orion. Mining Missions need to be seriously reconsidered. Posted: 04 May 2020 04:55 PM PDT I just docked at a station and saw a mission there; mine 3348 water. Payout? Just over a million credits. I mean, seriously? Nobody in their right mind would ever take that mission. It's just absurdly stupid it even exists. And 100% of mining missions I see are like that.
