| For any commanders prepping to leave the starter systems. Posted: 27 Nov 2020 12:50 PM PST Apologies in advance for mobile formatting issues. This is a tip for the new commanders still in the pilots federation district to earn some easy credits. Once you have access to the "exploring the galaxy" quest that leads you out of the starter systems, take it! Then before you actually embark on your journey, visit every other starter system one last time, you can pick up multiple versions of that quest from the various stations. Each one will have a different destination but all will still pay 100,000 credits. This means you can earn an easy million credits, and get to travel to some nearby stations for modules and ships not available in the new player area. Hope this helps some of the newer players unsure about leaving the noob bubble, and good luck to the new commanders! o7 [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 27 Nov 2020 11:28 AM PST Got friend who's new to Elite. Doesn't want to do any of the tutorials. So I decided to send him the Hutton Orbital. I'll keep you guys posted with updates. 1: He's on his way to Alpha Centauri Right now 2: He just got his ship blown up. Forgot to ask for docking permissions while trying to refuel. 3: He just arrived at Alpha Centauri 4: It's starting to set in just how far he has to travel 5: He didn't refuel when getting the Alpha Centauri. He might not have enough fuel to get to Hutton 6: He decided to google Hutton and figured out it was a joke. He took it in good humor and decided to finish the trek, and is now the proud owner of a knick knack mug. [link] [comments] | ||
