    Community Goal: Deliver Xenological Samples Required By Colonia Scientists

    The Holloway Bioscience Institute in Colonia is offering high payouts for delivering samples from space-dwelling lifeforms. Jaques Station, which is also in the Colonia system, has agreed to serve as the delivery point for this initiative.

    Chief researcher Dr Roy Casimir outlined the requirements: "There is still a huge amount to learn about the fascinating structures that grow within the vacuum of space. As our stock of specimens is running low, we require fresh tissue samples from living organisms to continue our experimentation programme."

    Pilots are requested to deliver Pod Core Tissue, Pod Dead Tissue, Pod Mesoglea, Pod Outer Tissue, Pod Surface Tissue, Pod Shell Tissue or Pod Tissue to Jaques Station in the Colonia system.

    If successful, decals will be rewarded to the top 75% of participants by the 15th of January 3307.

    Each successful tier will provide the Holloway Bioscience Institute with enough material and data to establish one experimental habitat for space-dwelling lifeforms in a nearby system, enabling it to further its studies.

    The initiative begins on the 7th of January 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

    About Flat Galaxy Society

    Flat Galaxy Society was founded by war-weary and politically savvy Commanders who wanted to change galactic politics in the core bubble. The search for a suitable system was long and hard but we finally settled on HR 2926. Most of the founding Commanders were Alliance or Independently aligned and democratically leaning and so the Alliance Democracy of the Flat Galaxy Society was born with the aim of spreading democracy and the Alliance philosophy of freedom and respect for independence to the edge of the bubble. After incredible success in promoting our independent democratic friends throughout the region and pushing a large number of systems into democratic control, FGS members now feel the time is right to promote wider democracy and cooperation under our own faction, the Flat Galaxy Society, an Alliance democracy. Our primary focus will be on promoting and expanding our faction throughout the region, securing trade routes, mining locations, shipyards and other facilities in neutral territories.

    We also run social events and offer help and guidance to new commanders looking to make their way in a hostile galaxy. And most importantly they promote the belief that the galaxy is flat (FSV of flat) as confirmed by their leader, the Invisible Pink Unicorn (current whereabouts unknown).

    I was exploring beyond the Pleiades and I found this system; it has five stars hierarchically orbiting multiple barycenters. The planets have rapid 2- and 3-day orbits.

     After doing a long run of sightseeing for the rich lovers and criminal masterminds, on my way back I was interdicted into a neutron star, every module on my ship died, cabin was cracked, and couldn't get out of the star's tail so I was forced to self-destruct. Well on my way back to my home station (Ohm City, LHS 20) I get the lovely message of "blah blah don't try and run, i'm a pirate" sorta thing. Obviously look at my inventory and see there's nothing in it. No passengers, no cargo. Nothing. Don't even have any current missions.

    Still didn't interdict me tho, gotta earn that.
