    Ever wonder where Barnard's Loop is from Earth?

    If you've been playing a while, you've probably seen Barnard's Loop in the sky. It's the red "eyebrow" visible from almost anywhere in the Bubble. (Or a fermata if you're familiar with musical notation.)

    So it may have crossed your mind: Gee, if Barnard's Loop is visible from all over the Bubble, then it should be visible from Earth. I'm on Earth. Where is Barnard's Loop in the sky?

    Most of you can find Orion in the sky - it's the most recognizable constellation. Well, Barnard's Loop pretty much fills Orion. It's just too dim to see from most locations due to light pollution. If you're in a very dark site (or in space) and your eyes are night adapted, you will just barely be able to see it. It's about 20 degrees wide (or tall if you go by North-South orientation on Earth), or about 40 full moons. (Mouse over the pic for a label overlay.)

    Anti-AXI bounty note from a Thargoid sympathizer

    As a self-proclaimed ally to the Thargoids, I am willing to pay large sums of money for each proven kill against players who harm Thargoids. The bounties are as follows:

    - random cmdr with AX weaponry: 20M credits

    - cmdr with AX weaponry killed while fighting Thargoids: 40M credits

    - known member of AXI or any AXI-like group, if they have AX weaponry, whether they're fighting a thargoid or not: 50-100M credits depending on their fame or rank

    - known member of AXI or any AXI-like group, if they have PvP equipment: 80-150M credits depending on fame or rank.

    - feeding one Thargoid Interceptor with Meta Alloys: 10 million CR per unique interceptor. I'm paying for max. 5 interceptors per person.

    Proof must consist of video footage of the kill uploaded as unlisted to Youtube. If you give your express permission, this footage will be used in my compilation.

    Credit transfers will be performed on my Private group, using the Fleet Carrier commodity market, in a location established beforehand on Discord

    Keep in mind that I might run out of cash. When that happens, this bounty note will be edited to reflect that.

    Current bounty allocation: 500M
