    I've been playing off an on, coming back for Odyssey and I have to say that I really like it. The ground combat is a bit rough and laggy, but that could be my PC, but overall it is an interesting addition.

    The thing that mainly drove me away from the original game and partly through horizon was having to grind activities I didn't enjoy even for mid level ships. Sure I could just do what I liked, combat, but it was just adding hours and hours to what would already have been a grind mining or trading.

    I will say that they gave combat some love. I was doing some low res bounty hunting to get back in the swing and noticed I was making a lot more than I remembered. But then, I shuttled over to a warring system (I can't tell you how much Apex opened the game up for me), and for the hell of it joined one of the hard ground combat instances.

    I'd be lying if I said it was flawless, but there is room to improve, but overall it was fun and by the time it was over I had 3 million in combat bonds to cash in at the desk. I really hope they don't somehow nerf this. It didn't feel like a grind, I got wasted a few times, but it was good fun and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was rewarding my time as well.

    I know 3 million may not seem like a lot to some vets, but for me as someone that is fairly casual it puts some of those mid tier combat ships within reach.

    I really hope they continue tuning and working on this game. It has rough edges, but so much potential. I sifted through a lot of hate before giving it a try again, and I can say I am glad I did.

    Please. Intelligent Limpent management while changing ships.

    Changing from one ship to another is a highly annoying due to difference in the storage.
    All the times my cargo is full of limpets and before changing to some smaller ship i need to sell limpets that simply cannot fit.

    Can we get a simple check while changing ships that will :

    • ask if we want to sell excess limpets if the cargo of the new ship if smaller
    • ask if we want to fill up the free space with limpets if the cargo of the new ship is bigger

    Took a trip to oaken point in hip 26176, to get the logs. I ended up finding an occupied escape pod and type 9 data log that was corrupted when accessed, also there are two wrecked t9s at this location

    When looking for Earth like worlds or specific ring types it helps to remember the order of Star Classes because it is connected to what can be found in the system.

    Primary Star Class for Prominent System Features

    For ELWs just remember: Fine Girl, Kiss Me

    Metallic Rings go on A Fine Girl

    Rocky / Metal Rich rings are easy AF to find

    Ships you didn't like to fly, when you had to, but love now that it's optional.

    I love flying all the small ships now, that I have a choice, owning many larger ones.
    But one that sticks out is the Viper mk III. I used to HATE flying it, but now? Definitely one of my favorite "project" ships nowadays.
    Share your experiences.

    My newest plaything, name suits it I think.
