    Fleet carriers and Fuel Rats

    For the past few weeks I've been grinding away on my final combat rank before Elite, gunning down pirate after pirate at a compromised nav beacon and rearming at one of the many fleet carriers in the system. Last night was the same as any other; did a few runs to the beacon and back, stopping only to refill my multi-cannons and pack-hounds before logging off for the night. The fleet carrier I had been rearming at had remained where it was for weeks, and it was close to the beacon, so I felt safe logging off while docked aboard. I log back in today to grind some more, and hear a sound you never want to hear in an combat ship: "System scan complete"

    Oh no...

    Frantically, I open my galaxy map, hopping I was still in the bubble and could hop between stations to get back home, or at least have my DBX shipped over. But I would find no such mercy, for I found myself in uninhabited space with the closest station being Asterope in the Pleiades Nebula. Stuck on the carrier, which had no outfitting or shipyard at my disposal, in a Federal Corvette outfit for PvE I decided to make a mad dash for Asterope, and hoped there would be other fleet carriers along the way where I could refuel.

    Seems like the universe was working against me today, as there were no other fleet carriers to be found, and I had burned most of my fuel to find that out. With 4 jumps left and with only enough fuel for 1, I dropped from supercruise and called in the Fuel Rats. It wasn't long before a Rat dropped in and started to fill my tank, and reminded me Economic mode existed in the route planner. With that turned on and my tank feeling a little heavier, I was able to limp back to civilization, and now I write this while waiting for my DBX to be shipped over. 10/10 would run out of fuel again.

    tldr; fleet carrier threw me into the black with no scoop, and the Fuel Rats saved me a few million in bounties and a rebuy.

    When I mapped this planet that I found cool, this appeared and... What am I looking at? Did I discover something new?

    Looks like remains of an unknown ship.

    Closed look with the strange object.

    Of course I had to poke it! Where is the fun? But none of my scans could do anything with it. It just stays there glowing. Scanned around in the system but did not found anything. And it is in a system that has not yet been discovered.

    It has a radiant blue color and is slowly pulsing

    This is how it appeared for me and caught my attention

    I Spedrun my way to Petty Officer so that I could visit Earth for the first time on my birthday. (The rescue missions in Cornsar helped alot in that endeavour.)

    I saved up 6K for a AspX and ended up using it to buy a DBX which I outfitted to 27LY. This is my first real outfitting experience, so I'm kinda proud of myself.

    After 27 jumps and 144ly, I finally made it. Safe to say, it was the most incredible E:D experience I've had yet. At one point, I even lost control of my SRV and destroyed it.

    As a relatively new commander, I can easily say I'll be exploring for a long time,

    This system I scanned came to a value of over 8 mil! Now is a really good time to turn it in with the current CG bonus of x3 value to exploration data.
