Posted: 28 Dec 2021 02:30 AM PST As seen recently on GalNet, there are currently six planetside caches that can be scanned for a variety of free goodies. The first set of these will expire early on the 30th with the server downtime, and become unavailable. Set 1 (expires on 30th Dec)
Set 2 (expires on 6th Jan)
This totals 150 million credits, along with several exclusive items. Scanning the planet with a DSS and then jumping in and out of supercruise should allow you to spot a Crashed Ship signal that contains the cache. Scan it with a SRV to recieve the goods. In the case of Mitterland Hollow, landing there can be a bit tricky and there are many unrelated crashed ships - aim for the one closest to the coordinates of -33 -104. I'll be jumping my carrier along the listed route tomorrow, along with a shipyard and outfitting to allow for transfer of the recieved presents, probably sometime from 17:00 UTC onwards. If you'd like a lift, come visit our squadron's discord (yes, I'm doing this post to plug the group, sue me) [link] [comments]

Honest opinion: there should probably be a detention facility in the witch head nebula Posted: 27 Dec 2021 08:42 PM PST A couple of weeks ago I was grinding rep through damaged stations. Long story short, I was in a type-7 and got caught on the mailslot. Bounty accumulated and got shot down. Wouldn't be much of a problem if the nearest detention center wasn't in the goddamn Pleiades. The next couple hours were dedicated to getting my aspx over to the witch head nebula after calling it to the Pleiades, then calling over the type-7, then navigating the nebula thanks to the fact that I had terrible jump range. Long story short, and I know this isn't an official subreddit to post suggestions to, but it's a little annoying that the closest detention facility is that distant. [link] [comments]
