    Why is it seen as bad to use a docking computer?

    A docking computer is there to simply Dock your ship while you can go and make yourself a sandwich or whatever. It's a simple quality of life thing.

    Why do some people think they are superior and need to kill players who use a docking computer? Why is that a thing? Does it truly make you feel better to kill a player, no matter if old or new, just because they enjoy to sit back for a moment?

    I'm using a docking computer for my type-9 that's almost always filled with 700 tons of cargo. I've never had a real problem with it. It hits the bottom and top sometimes, but that's what my shields are for to protect against.

    I simply don't get it why people hate docking computers so much and think they are better than others for not using them.

    I don't know about my fellow commanders, but the second I got horizons, the galaxy looked so much different. Finally all the ships, all the features, all the interaction, enhanced exploration, and a semi-sanity-destroying grind. See you in the black CMDRs...or maybe in my brand new orca with an SRV bay...fly dangerously. o7
