    This is a project to systematically survey every star system within 200 ly of Sol, about 68,000 systems. We've had contributions from 119 unique CMDRs, and completed 37% of the survey (25,000 systems).

    We've found about thirty-five crashed ships, mapped hundreds of moons, and noted hundreds of megaships over the past year.

    How To Hear NPC Chatter, Not Just Read It

    Make sure audio is on!

    I've been using NPC Vocalizer for several weeks now, and love it! It puts an actual voice to the NPC chatter that you normally read in the Comms panel. Example in the video.

    You'll find the software here: https://ednpcv.blogspot.com/. It's free and comes with 6 voice packs, all of which are high quality text-to-speech. You can also download third-party packs. More text-to speech packs are already available in different voices, along with a personally recorded human voice that covers over 700 responses.

    And! You can record your own voice packs if you want. Get your voice in Elite!

    It's been very well thought through. The potentially repetitious voices of Liners can be switched off, and if a line is said twice in quick succession, the program can filter out the repetitions.

    In the interest of full disclosure, I did not write the program, but I did create the human voice pack, as heard in the video.
