    Sirius Corporation has requested deliveries of consumables to Luyten's Star for the forthcoming diplomatic conference.

    The Galactic Summit will take place in the Sirius system and last for three weeks, beginning on Thursday the 25th of February. It will be attended by leaders from the Alliance, Empire and Federation, plus representatives from independent systems.

    Sirius Corporation has placed orders for these rare commodities: Eden Apples Of Aerial, Ethgreze Tea Buds, Gerasian Gueuze Beer, Giant Irukama Snails, Goman Yaupon Coffee, Karsuki Locusts and Lavian Brandy.

    All shipments are to be delivered to Ashby City in the Luyten's Star system. They will then be ferried to Sirius before the conference begins.

    CEO Li Yong-Rui discussed these preparations at a media event:

    "We will provide all honoured delegates with a comfortable, luxurious environment. This includes offering the finest cuisine from across the galaxy."

    Several journalists pointed out that both the Alliance and Empire had registered official complaints about the Galactic Summit's location being situated deep within Federal space. Li Yong-Rui responded:

    "I assure you that the Sirius system is politically neutral territory, and Sirius Corporation remains independent from the Federation. I can personally guarantee the safety and diplomatic immunity of all attendees."

    If the initiative is successful, Sirius Corporation will make the fully engineered long range fast boot class 5 Frame Shift Drive available for purchase at all human technology brokers.

    Each tier reached will further reduce the resources required for acquiring the module in the first two weeks of availability, starting on the 26th of February 3307.

    • Datamined Wake Exceptions base requirements 18, reduced by two for each tier above Tier 1.
    • Tellurium base requirements 26, reduced by four for each tier above Tier 1.
    • Electrochemical Arrays base requirements 26, reduced by four for each tier above Tier 1.
    • Chemical Processors base requirements 28, reduced by four for each tier above Tier 1.

    If the initiative is successful, Sirius Corporation will gift the module and a permanent Sirius system permit to the top 75% of pilots. The module will be placed in storage at the Ashby City starport in the Luyten's Star system by the 26th of February 3307.

    Thanks for the chase! Unfortunately for you my Cobra III was highly engineered for speed and stealth, and purpose built for smuggling. This interaction at the community goal has demonstrated what smuggling should feel like as opposed to its current state. I know it's rare goods vs. black market, but that is the feeling I want when delivering goods in a high speed, shieldless, silent running Cobra III. At 48t of cargo I am pulling in a little over 5 mil credits every delivery, which is enough to keep me engaged. If only the black market paid that much...

    You'll have another chance soon though as I am on a cyclical route to Lave and back. Gotta supply Sirius with their alcoholic beverages.

    So there I was, loaded up my T9 with cargo for a rep run, and launched from station. Half a second into the launch, shit was bad. I forgot that rather than "Auto Launch" I just saw the regular launch button. Oh well, no big deal, I've flown for years, I can do this.

    I'd done it a thousand times... in ships that aren't a Type-9. Even my python slips through the mailslot easier than The Big Peep does.

    You have to grease up her Pixar-Mom-double-thicc-dumptruck-butt to get her out of the mail slot, and the station -still- demands you buy it dinner and cuddle afterwards.

    And I was so very out of practice.

    Turns out, when you get stuck in the mailslot? The station has no problems at all helping you clear the blockage. They just happen to help you by exploding you, fining you, and sending you to Space Prison.

    Ah well, never fly without rebuy, I just lost a dozen missions of cargo, no biggie, I'll fix that in an hour...

    Wait, my rebuy doesn't have the auto-docking either? Oh I am fucked. Time to re-learn my complacency in flying... Three attempts, two more explosions, and a LOT of fines, but I finally, FINALLY get my space truck's big 'ole self back to home.

    ADC, you have spoiled me. And I promise to never leave home without you ever again.
