| Is it common on ED to get rid of autopilots? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 04:15 AM PDT I've recently started playing ED because I like the idea of space mining. It's took me a good few hours but I managed to upgrade to a Cobra mkiii based on Google searches saying it's one of the best ships. The trouble I'm having is outfitting said ship with what a feel is needed. Prospector and collection modules, cargo space, etc etc. I've been looking over mining builds and noticed a lot of people appear to sacrifice the 2 auto pilot modules for frame shift and docking.
