    Hi guys. I'm getting my first Hotas setup completed tomorrow and am looking for games I enjoy that can be improved with Hotas. How much better is this game? Or is it not supported at all?

    I made it to Sagittarius A* and what a disappointment. Given that astronomers have succeeded in imaging Sag A*, and given ED's overall beautiful renderings of stars, planets and asteroids I expected that the in-game rendering of Sag A* would be spectacular. Instead, we have a brown blob.

    Hi all, I'm trying to unlock the engineer Lei Cheung, who needs one to have traded at 50 unique markets. I certainly have more than 0 markets traded at, because I got to elite in trading by doing single hop trading routes and had to change where I was going to and coming from many times. Yet, my codex says that my "market network" is 0. My trading profit is 0 and so is every other statistic on this page. This can't be possible as I understand it, because I have around two billion in trading profits and I've spent a good deal of time going to many different stations to trade commodities.

    Is there only a particular kind of trade that qualifies? Or is this a bug?

    Controls suddenly changed? Not a new ship.

    I'm a noob in Elite, in the early double-digits of hours played (PS5), but a fan of space sim games in general. I've been figuring things out slowly on my own, and have loved graduating from "Jeebus take the wheel" when I'm landing to guiding it as close as possible, then throttling down to let Otto the Pilot take over the last few dozen meters.

    Yesterday, I left a station and suddenly there was a LOT more drift on the controls outside of supercruise when I pitch and roll, like the movement limiter is just gone. It always felt fairly similar to supercruise before that, just a little more responsive overall. Now I just feel like I'm driving on ice.

    At the same time, jumping to supercruise has become a great deal harder. When I throttle up, it gives a persistent warning after it finishes charging to "Align to ship vector." This lasts for about 20-30 seconds while I spin around, then engages whether or not I'm dead on target.

    Third, and most sadly, Otto has begun to aggressively take over as soon as I request to dock, regardless of my speed. I haven't changed any settings and Autodock has always been on. Admittedly I'm happy about this while my "ice driving" symptoms are active, since I'd probably end up with a few fines, if not explosions.

    Have others encountered a sudden control shift like this?

    TLDR: Controls have made a sudden, slippery shift and it feels like a completely different game. In a bad way.

    UPDATE: I had accidentally disengaged Flight Assist! Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction, Commanders. And why the downvotes? Seriously. We're all just doing our best here.

    On my way to Sagittarius a* via Colonia and have been doing the odd system scan. Not an exploring pro, but is it good when you find a system with 4 terraformable water worlds?

    Jet cone boost suddenly isn’t working, what am I missing?

    I used to boost all the time. I just recently got the unlock-able frame shift drive and as I recall was still working. I think I had a 200+ ly jump with it. Also just installed the guardian 5 booster. Now it seems I can no longer supercharge. I could have sworn I had with it. But last two times I have been unable to do it. And of course I forgot to notate which star it was.

    Did I miss some fine print someplace?

    We did it. The community worked together and managed to secure a >6% lead against all odds in the competing CG!

    Now, we will have to cement it, so I implore you: Take part in the efforts and transport power converters, power transfer buses and emergency power cells to HIP 43670.

    To facilitate this hauling procedure, dozens of Fleet Carriers are rotating between supplying systems and Oramus Terminal in HIP 43670.

    The [SCI] fleet of Canonn offers up to 500% buying price for those who are willing to help with the loading of power converters in G 139-3.

    Other loading initiatives are taking place in LTT 17102 and BAG 7.

    The supporters in any of these systems as well as HIP 43670 will gladly answer your questions!
